Research has shown that spending time outside in nature is beneficial to both mind and body. For gardeners, there is the added benefit of exercise - physical activity improves strength and flexibility, while the endorphins released make us feel good. 

There is also the pleasure in seeing things you have planted take root and grow. And for the less-than-green fingered, there is nothing to say you can’t enjoy surveying the results of those who do like to dig deep in the earth!

Our classic preloved teak furniture set by Barlow Tyrie is perfect for a small garden with two benches and a neat rectangular table. A classic set that can stay outside throughout the year, it’s perfect for al fresco eating and drinking too.  

Unique garden room furniture

Style and comfort combine in our luxurious deep-seated cushioned sofa. Made from teak with lovely wickerwork panels, this has ‘sit back and relax’ stamped all over it, creating a seamless transition between house and garden.

We also currently have a gorgeous wicker retro coffee table and chair set that conjures up images of lazy mornings with coffee in the sun, wide-brimmed sunhats and oversized sunglasses a la Audrey Hepburn. The perfect addition to a patio or summer house. 

Timeless teak 

In a return to more traditional style, we also have a striking 8ft classic London Bench - a wonderful vintage piece crafted in teak that brings charm and character to outdoor spaces.

Adding a quirky twist on the traditional, we currently have two preloved classic park bench styles, one with ‘Mum’ across the back, the other stating ‘Dad’. Each bench is made from teak and comfortably seats two people. 

Simple and elegant, our lovely preloved Teak Garden Bench and Armchairs have weathered to their own unique soft, silvery grey patina. They look wonderful piled with cushions and draped with throws to create sumptuous seating to watch the sun set.

Statement garden bench

For an extra touch of drama, our preloved Fibrecrete Garden Bench is a very special find. Fibrecrete looks like natural stone, but is an all-weather concrete composite that will continue to develop its own unique patina over time. Full of charm and character, this is seating to turn heads. 

Our preloved Black Metal Garden Bench is lightweight and easy to move. Made from steel, its classic style works in contemporary and traditional settings, and looks wonderful surrounded by planted pots in bloom.

Another current favourite is our retro style teak Reclining Armchair made by Gloster. With its tailored cushion, this is a comfortable, elegant option for a sunny spot. Sit upright and read or lean back and drift off - the choice is yours.
