Seasonal styling tips and Easter décor

Seasonal styling tips and Easter décor

How to keep Easter décor sweet, simple and stress-free with stunning results

With Easter falling so early this year, at the end of March, it has crept up on everyone. Rest assured we are on the case. With lots of gift and styling ideas, instore and online, we can help whether you are hosting a full-blown family party – complete with Easter tablescape and décor - or simply want to welcome in the spring season.

Nothing lifts the mood like a springtime celebration after the dark winter months; it’s the perfect time to fill homes with cheerful flowers, mood-boosting colour and uplifting scent. As we wait in anticipation for early flowering garden blooms, everlasting faux flowers and foliage allow you to deck out your indoor spaces throughout the season and beyond.

You can also mix faux stems with fresh to bulk out and enhance arrangements for impressive displays. Choose a suitable receptacle, mix seasonal stems and foliage, adding branches for structure and support. Enjoy getting creative - it’s a chance to take a bit of time out for yourself and you might be surprised just how much you enjoy it.

Our scented candles and Room Diffusers by True Grace take care of fresh fragrance. Discover rejuvenating scents to evoke the best of the season with glorious fragrances such as Rosemary & Eucalyptus, Jasmin Tea and Wild Mint to replenish both space and mind.

Forage for foliage

Take the opportunity to get outdoors and benefit from as much natural daylight as possible in the process. Forage for stems, branches and foliage that you can use in displays or combine with faux stems for a lovely informal look. Found branches can be very effective as an Easter ‘tree’ - look for something with a sturdy base and lots of twiggy stems, on which you can hang small decorations - hand tied coloured ribbons paired with our handmade felted bunny decorations are ideal for this, and can be brought out year after year. Perfect for a tabletop or mantel moment.

Elevate floral displays

If you are looking for suggestions to elevate floral arrangements, adding interest and impact, our super textural Faux Catkin Branch looks stunning grouped on its own or added to any arrangement, creating texture and height with its abundance of caterpillar-like plumes.

The pretty tones of our Faux Pink Ranunculus stem bring spring colour to any vase, while the delicate Faux Pink Blossom Branch feels like a celebration of the season. Guaranteed to make any space feel lighter and brighter, the pretty pink flowers are a lovely contrast to the fresh green leaves. Pair with pink or green candles, and roll and tie cotton or linen napkins in a toning shade of velvet ribbon for a beautifully cohesive look for an Easter table setting that takes minimal time and effort, but still has impact.

Team any of the above with the gorgeous Panobo Vase for taller stems, or the Massin Vase for a naturalistic feel and larger arrangements, while the etched Frond Vase is lovely paired with fresh spring blooms for an easy centrepiece. You can also use the Frond Vase with a small Macon Pillar Candle or tealight for an atmospheric glow; available in three sizes, you can mix and match for a more informal look, or the same size for more formal Easter table decor.

Easter colour to make you smile

When planning a colour scheme for Easter, you can’t go wrong with soft muted tones and pastel hues. Simply adding lots of pretty-coloured candles to a room or table brings a magical feel to the space.

Handmade in the Ukraine, our beautiful through coloured Macon Pillar Candles are available in a gorgeous range of colours and sizes. Pair with our delicately patterned Melun Urn and fresh blooms to create a striking floral centrepiece, or mix and match with the Leon Fluted Tray for an eclectic look.

Our hand-poured Coloured Dining Candles by True Grace are non-drip and burn for around 14 hours. A mixed palette of pretty pastel colours look fabulous together, and they make gorgeous gifts too. Our new Spring shades work beautifully for Easter tablescapes - our current favourite combination is Eau De Nil, Lilac, Peach, Cherry Blossom, Sky Blue and Honey.

Once you have flowers, candles and colours sorted, a few simple additions can transform a dinner table into an extra special Easter treat with very little effort. We love using our pieces in different ways - the Etched Prosecco Glasses are fabulous for fizz, cocktails and desserts, but are also gorgeous on an Easter table filled with pastel-coloured, mini egg treats.

Finishing touches

The most beautiful and adaptable addition to a tabletop, mantle or sill this season, our handmade Metal Flower Garland brightens indoor spaces with an abundance of pastel painted blooms. Twist and twine, or hang this beautifully delicate metal garland anywhere - the pretty pastel coloured leaves and flowers are malleable so you can shape them in whatever direction you choose to fit into your display.

One of the loveliest finishing touches for tables is our Pressed Floral Glass Hurricane lamp, which ticks every spring décor box. Dried soft pink flowers have been pressed into textured glass - which creates a unique design every time - and when paired with a Macon Pillar Candle in a colour that teams with your scheme, this is perfect for a stunning, yet simple, Easter centrepiece.

For further inspiration, we have added an Easter section to our website, which is dedicated to gift and decor ideas. Keep an eye on our Instagram for further styling suggestions, and don’t hesitate to contact us for any help or advice - we love sharing decor tips. We hope you enjoy creating your own restful holiday space!
